What electrical outlet is needed?
For garage door openers, the electrical requirement is a standard 120V outlet. Unless specific building codes dictate otherwise, we advise using a dedicated 15 amp breaker for a single opener, and a dedicated 20 amp breaker for two or three openers.
HOW LONG DOES THE INSTALLATION TAKE?
The installation process for a garage door opener usually takes approximately two to three hours. However, the duration may vary depending on whether you are installing a new opener in a garage without one or replacing an existing unit.
